At the moment I'm fine with threadhopping, as long as it makes sense within the setting and is something in conjuction with the previous conversation. This guy has anger issues, so butting into a conversation he's having just to tell him how cute you think puppies are is not going to end well. If you want that to happen, then butt in whenever, if not then don't.

I am always for backtagging, especially if it serves a purpose. Torque is a very antisocial, so logs are gold-dust when they come, backdated or otherwise.
